Many games will have the feature where you can sign in to social media (socmed) accounts (e.g. Facebook, Gmail, Twitter etc) or their own account (e.g. MoonTon Account for Mobile Legends BB, MiHoYo Account for Genshin Impact or Activision Account for Call of Duty Mobile etc).
If your app/game have this, then your data will be synced with the account and not to your Google account. Meaning you can use other platforms or devices and still keep your progress, skins and in-game balance as long as you are signed in to the same account. This way, you will keep your data and progress with you without having to start over your app/game from scratch.
Here are app/game that we have listed with alternative methods that would work. Amazon and iPhone methods requires account linking while Razer method requires Razer Account as well as your game ID details.

Amazon Appstore
This is the simplest method as it is similar to using GooglePlay. Instead of redeeming Google Gift Card on GooglePlay, we will use Amazon Gift Card on Amazon.

In-app purchase using Amazon Appstore
- Search for your app/game and download*
- Open the app, finish any tutorial and log in to your social media / app account.
- Redeem Amazon Gift Card if no balance yet
- Make in-app purchase
- Done
*The app/game downloaded from Amazon Appstore will be different than the one downloaded from Google Play. You might have 2 of the same app on your phone if you have not deleted the one from Google Play
iPhone

Use app/game on android but in-app purchase using iPhone/iPad/iPod
This method is similar to Amazon Appstore as social media / app account login is required. This time Apple Gift Card balance is used to make in-app purchase.
On the Apple device:
- Search for your app/game and download*
- Open the app, finish any tutorial and log in to your social media / app account.
- Redeem Apple Gift Card if no balance yet
- Make in-app purchase
- Log out of social media / app account from the app/game if needed
- Done
On the Android device:
Open the app and log in to social media / app account, the latest purchases should be synced
Razer Gold
This method utilises your app/game UserID/Player ID or social media / game account log-in via gold.razer.com or the app/game payment website. To use Razer Gold, Razer account is required.
On some phone browser, gold.razer.com will be set to SG.
If you need to change to US region, you will need to use different browser or VPN on phone, or use browser on PC.
Redeeming will vary per game so check the Razer Gold Catalog from the website and refer to each guide for your selected app/game.
